Having had Labradors for the last 30 years I was initially hesitant about trying a different breed. I needn’t have been, as our little “Lady” Fidra has proven to be a wonderful addition to our family. She is by far and away the smartest dog we have ever owned. She has excelled in training classes, surpassing other dogs that are literally years older than her. She only needs to be shown a command once and she masters it. She has turned out to be a very pretty dog with people stopping us wherever we go to ask about her unusual colouring. I am so glad we bought a Springer of Green Gables pup and would highly recommend them.
