Puppies Upcoming!

When we first contacted Angela and Ken, I knew they were the breeders we wanted to work with. Angela included us in every step from breeding to the day we picked up our puppy, Roxy. We felt like we knew Roxy before we even met. I have been so happy with our experience, Roxy had such a solid start in house breaking, coming when called and following without a lead. Now that Roxy is six months old, we can’t imagine our life without her.

Our experience with Springers of Green Gables was fantastic all around! Angela was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. We were able to visit the ranch a couple of times to meet her and the pups. Willow has such a kind temperament and is one of the most loving dogs I’ve ever had. We’ve been very happy with our puppy, Pip. She is great, quiet house dog when at home and full of energy and excitement whenever she is out on a run or meeting new people or pets. She loves to cuddle, gets along great with our cat and is very good with meeting other animals. She is very intelligent and expressive; basic training has been a breeze. She almost never barks but is not above whining to show her worry or excitement. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with her and the support we have received from Green Gables.

Our puppy has been a great addition to our family and is so trainable, loving, and sweet. You can tell this family is in love with what they do, through their amazing communication, patience & the love for their animals is very evident! We are beyond grateful to this family for an amazing experience from start to finish! – Angela and Ken were so great when we came to pick up Henry, taking their time, also answering our son’s questions & telling stories – We really have felt at home with Angela and Ken, right from the start! Their kindness, love, continued communication, and support is so appreciated! They are a dream!

As for the boy we brought home? Henry is honestly the sweetest little soul & we couldn’t be happier to have him! He is so smart – loves to hold hands and is always up for cuddles!

Putting the phenomenal experience of dealing with Angela and Ken at Springers of Green Gables into a few sentences is definitely hard to do. From the moment I decided I was ready to start going through the process of purchasing my first puppy, Angela’s prompt communication and willingness to get together on a video call to introduce ourselves and talk through what I wanted from a breeder and into the “ideal” puppy for me and answer any questions I had made me quickly realize the care, thought, and pure love they have for each one of their dogs. Deciding to get a puppy through them was a no brainer. Through the entire time Adele was pregnant and after she had her babies Angela was diligent in keeping everyone up to date and sent lots of photos on how everyone was doing. Anyone who purchases a puppy from Springers of Green Gables can have complete confidence that these pups are bred with pure love, care and affection. Adding my Springer, Maverick to my life has been the biggest joy and I truly cannot thank Angela and Ken enough.

We had been thinking about getting a Springer Spaniel for years, but struggled to find the one that truly felt like ours until we saw a picture of Timon and instantly fell in love. Angela was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. She sent me pictures of Timon nearly every day and kept me updated on his development every step of the way. It’s clear how much she loves and cares for her puppies, they were all healthy, happy, and well socialized when I met them. Having had Labradors for the last 30 years I was initially hesitant about trying a different breed. I needn’t have been, as our little “Lady” Fidra has proven to be a wonderful addition to our family. She is by far and away the smartest dog we have ever owned. She has excelled in training classes, surpassing other dogs that are literally years older than her. She only needs to be shown a command once and she masters it. She has turned out to be a very pretty dog with people stopping us wherever we go to ask about her unusual colouring. I am so glad we bought a Springer of Green Gables pup and would highly recommend them.

Angela was so friendly and helpful, I felt an instant connection with her, and you can really tell she loves her dogs and the puppies. Knowing they are coming from a loving caring home means a lot!

We’ve re-named Hank to Arthur now, although “Hank the Tank” definitely suited him. This is my first time getting a dog from a breeder. Our previous dogs came from the SPCA where we got to met them in person before deciding to bring them home. With the long distance between us, we got to know Arthur from talking to Angela and through pictures and videos, so to be honest I was worried, but worrying was not necessary, we fell in love with him immediately. He is sweet and smart, but at 3 months old, he is still very much an energetic and playful puppy. With attention, exercise and discipline, he is going to be such a great companion for many years to come. He’s a healthy boy growing way too fast, I already miss the little puppy stage.

If you’re looking for an energetic best friend to hang out with, I definitely recommend talking to Angela about her Springer Spaniels. You won’t regret it.

In a single word, our experience of purchasing our new puppy was GREAT.

We drove to the acreage to visit and find the puppy that fit us the best. Ken and Angela were so great. They were very welcoming and patient with us. They answered all our questions, even sending us home with a little food and a blanket to help our new puppy sleep through the night in her new home. What a great experience it was!

As for the dog: What a terrific English Springer Spaniel! She is extremely smart and friendly. She’s quiet, until she wants a snack. LOL. She has a terrific nose and really enjoys playing games that require her to use her nose to find snacks. She would make a terrific hunting dog, given the proper time to train her. We have been taking a puppy class with her, and she has responded so well to the training exercises. Good, smart dog who enjoys working.

We certainly recommend Springers of Green Gables if you are looking for a terrific English Springer Spaniel and a terrific puppy shopping experience.

The first ever puppy I remember having is a Springer. My daughter and I were blessed to welcome the most beautiful, perfect springer into our family 2 months ago. We knew that we wanted multiple dogs but were worried about another dog not measuring up to our springer standard.

We phoned Springers of Green Gables and described our perfect puppy companion for our basically perfect Olive and they delivered! They were so honest in their recommendations and I think we knew as soon as we got out of the car that they had chosen the right puppy for our family. The genes that they breed for colouring are so unique and beautiful but the temperament and socialization that they teach and enforce are what truly sets them apart!
